Yesterday was nearly perfect. I cooked and ate what I’d planned (and did some other cooking too) and only slipped up at bedtime. I was tired and The Ankle of Doom was very sore so I went to bed early. That was my first mistake. I should have snuggled up on the sofa instead. Having gone to bed intending to watch Game of Thrones I played about online for a while and then decided that snuggling down and going to sleep would be nice. So I had supper of home made granola with almond milk:
It was very nice but I should have sprinkled some sweetener and used cow’s milk, I think as I wanted something creamy and/or sweet. I took the 2.5mg temazepam I’d planned for and then I couldn’t sleep. My mind was still activated, I hadn’t had a proper wind-down time and I wasn’t satisfied by my supper. I should have read for a while till I was properly sleepy and then had another bowl of granola with sweetener if I wanted it. What I actually did was to take another 2.5mg of temazepam (still well below the dose I’m allowed) and a bowl of melted cheese. And then I went happily to sleep.
Lessons will be learned.
